Employment:

Minima Creative May 2023-2025 Ongoing

After graduating from NUA, I found opportunities limited by the ongoing COVID lockdowns. I joined with a friend to set up Minima, which provides design, web, marketing material, and related services for small and medium-sized businesses looking for fresh, flexible, and cost-effective services to help them establish or develop their brands.

Minima has a collaborative ethos with colleagues who contribute from their specialisms — design, development, or marketing — and work together to get the most out of our different skills. This approach helps focus on what matters most: making sites that work and are easy to use. Using our diverse skillset, we’ve created custom software, developed WordPress themes and plugins, and crafted unique solutions that fit our clients’ vision for their brands. The focus is on bringing ideas to life in a way that truly works for the people behind them. Every project is personal to us, and we love seeing them grow and evolve.

Since the start, I have developed my skills in customer relations, graphic design, and client brief interpretation. I’ve also increased my technical skills, becoming adept with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, WordPress Bakery, and produced work for brands such as Path 50, Outstanding Services, Kat's Care, Block Tech Conference, Lucki, Hustle Heart, Glo's Gifts, Reiss Codner and On Fries. The key to working with multiple clients is to broaden my skills, whether to construct a website using the existing brand trends or to create a new logo for a start-up.

As a team, we look ahead, keeping pace with the latest developments to ensure that we use the best tools to create real, practical solutions for our clients. Technology moves fast, and we guarantee the businesses we work with aren’t left behind. Our objective is more than building websites or running campaigns—it’s about helping client brands step into the future.
